Many of the poses we do in a yoga practice build strength and stamina in the body. But, adding a bit of strength training can help support your yoga practice and other functional movements in your day-to-day life.
By including strength training in a movement routine, you can increase bone density, improve brain function, increase endorphins and enable more play in the body. The strength unfolds as we wake up the core, light up the limbs, and fire up the breath to create a feeling of holistic, integrated strength.
Not only will you feel younger in your body and mind, but you will want to be more active in all areas of life. You can even take this practice into your living room!
By the end of 4 weeks, you will:
FEEL stronger in planks, push-ups, squats, lunges and one-leg standing balances
FEEL more confident and integrated with complex movements, by waking up and connecting to the core
RECEIVE 4 videos for a home practice, that build from basic moves to more complex
GAIN new friends, who may become your workout buddies – motivation and accountability are a key to consistency
Enroll today and explore yoga-informed strength training!
